The Lovat holds a Scottish civil wedding license. This means that we are able to offer you the chance to get married in our hotel venue or in the hotel grounds.

The Staircase – 15 guests
A sweeping Victorian hotel staircase and open landing.
The Reception – 30 guests
A ground floor Reception area with open log fire and windows looking out to Loch Ness and the Highlands.
The Drawing Room – 35 guests
A traditional ground floor Drawing Room with open log fire and bay window. This looks out to the surrounding Scottish Highlands scenery
The Conservatory – 50 guests
A modern ground floor open plan conservatory area. It has wooden panelled flooring and windows looking out to the breathtaking Highland landscape around the hotel.
The Dining Room – 70 guests
A traditional ground floor Dining Room that faces the canal area of Fort Augustus and the surrounding Scottish scenery
The Lawn – 150 guests
An open lawn, ideal for a marquee or gazebo. It enjoys a scenic position at the foot of Loch Ness, with panoramic views of Fort Augustus and the surrounding Scottish landscape.
