  • Saturday, 2nd May & Saturday, 12th September 2026

The creator of The Scottish Folklore Podcast, Jenny Johnstone, presents an evening of folklore tales.

To celebrate Scottish Beltane traditions, we welcome you to an evening of Folklore, Fire and Fare. Gather around the warmth of our lounge fire, or wrapped up under the starry night sky, for a convivial journey of Scottish myths and tales that shape our land.

Join us for an intimate evening with Jenny Johnstone, a storyteller and podcaster rooted deep in the Scottish Highlands, where mist-wreathed glens and ancient forests fuel her craft. Her storytelling doesn't just recount—it conjures. With a voice that dances between the lyrical and the dramatic, she pulls listeners through the veil of time, immersing them in Scotland's wild, living tradition of oral storytelling.

Jenny

As the creator of The Scottish Folklore Podcast, Jenny has gathered a treasure trove of tales from every corner of the country—from whispered legends of the Borders to storm-battered myths of the Western Isles. Each session she crafts is bespoke, shaped to her audience's curiosity and wonder. Whether she's summoning kelpies from dark lochs, breathing life into seasonal customs, or guiding listeners through age-old adventures steeped in local lore, Jenny's storytelling is an invitation: to step off the modern path and wander into Scotland's mythic heart.
