Cawdor Castle

With a moat and drawbridge, turrets and turnpike stairs, the earliest documented date for the castle is 1454. The ancient medieval tower house was built for the 3rd Thane of Cawdor and has been home to 23 generations of the Cawdor family.

The castle is also surrounded by 3 gardens, the flower garden, the walled garden, and the wild garden. All with a story to tell and filled with colour, relaxation and joy. It’s easy to lose track of time while slowly strolling through the beautiful gardens with the castle as a stunning backdrop.
