Meet the team - Introducing our 1st year kitchen apprentice, Erin -

Where are you from?

- I was born and raised in a town called Greenock in Inverclyde, Lowlands of Scotland. 


What inspired you to become a chef?

- I worked in a bakery for a year and a half and really enjoyed it, this experience directed me to college and to pursue a career as a chef.  

 

What is your favourite part of the job? 

- Trying new foods and opening myself up to new flavours.

 

And what is the least?

- It would have to be missing a morning lie-in. 

 

You recently ate in our Station Road restaurant, which dish did you enjoy the most?

- My favorite dish so far has to be the Highland Lamb.



What do you like to do with your free time?

-  I like catching up with friends and family from back home, and spending a little time exploring Fort Augustus and Loch Ness

 

What are your future aspirations?

- Travelling is at the top of my list, maybe work in some kitchens around the world while learning new styles and techniques of cooking.
