Seeded Crackers

Chefs are known for keeping their recipes under lock and key, but we've managed to get the ingredients and method for these delights from our 'Beag' menu.

Homemade daily in our kitchen, our seasonally inspired seeded crackers compliment the cheese course in our Station Road restaurant.

 

Crackers

Ingredients

  • 20g Linseeds
  • 60g Sunflower Seeds
  • 8g Potato Starch
  • 2g Salt
  • 60g Boiling Water

Crackers

Method

1) Mix all dry ingredients together.

2) Add boiling water and leave to thicken for 5 minutes.

3) Spread a tablespoon worth onto a non-stick mat, repeat until you have desired quantity.

4) Bake in dry over at 170°C for 10 minutes.

5) Check they are crisp then store in an air-tight container once they have cooled.
